Pay attention to symbolism (Lennie's attraction to the color red like a bull. This puts people in danger. Remember the incident in Weed and the girl wearing the red dress. Curley's wife also likes to wear red. Could this be a foreshadow of danger for her? Also, know the theme revealed in Ch. 2 (loneliness-the migrant worker lifestyle and their lack of companionship. Contrast this with George and Lennie's unconditional friendship. 3) read ch.3 in its entirety. We will do literary analyisis after the test on Wed. 4) Field trip to the movie trip is tomorrow. students will miss periods 2-8. Looking forward to a great day!
